Puh...idk anymore where this came from! Read an emotional fantasy novel..., almost cried, finished it...and then need something where my feelings could go into.
You can try to interpret it...xD
But what happened is simple: girl got catched by an arrow, sister or friend cries her to death while a group of butterflies came into the scenery to escort her.
I really love roses! I always loved them...but as often I tried I failed! This time I just wanted to learn how to draw them and if it's the last I do. xD I know they're not perfect yet, but they look better then I ever thought and I'm really proud of them.
I used: A watercolor (Aquarell) paintbox from Schmincke, a black fine liner and drawing paper DIN A4 (190g/qm)

Vision Originality
Technique ImpactA beautiful piece, and I can see the theme technique mostly being stippling, which is impressive. The way the hair is done, so tight with a fair amount of highlights as well. Overall just a nice piece.
However for the strength of this piece I personally feel lacks contrast. Besides the wings of the insects having patterns fully black and bold, the rest of the line art and simple all seem to close to the same shade of dull grey against the white background. As well as the color in the roses. It all seems so dull compared to if it had a bit more contrast to it.
But, still a good as piece as any. I hope this could be of some help.
